1. The following terms and conditions apply to all persons using the TV Talent Supermarket website.

2. Within these terms and conditions ‘We’ refers to representatives of TV Talent Supermarket. ‘TVTS’ refers to TV Talent Supermarket. ‘You’ refers to individuals either promoting/advertising on the website or any person searching the site.

General

3. You are responsible for the accuracy of any content relating to personal profiles, classic cars, property or any other item submitted for listing on the TVTS website. You must inform TVTS of any changes to this information for updating on the website.

Services

Individuals, Presenters & Entertainers

4. We act as personal agents for talent either currently working on TV or looking for fresh and active representation. All enquiries from talent seeking new representation will be handled in the strictest confidence.

5. As well as being TV Agents we also offer a listing service for those not yet on TV but wanting to get the break in TV. From the information you provide your profile will be created and listed on the TVTS website. If you have a showreel this will be included in your profile and also on the TVTS YouTube channel – providing higher visibility. We can assist in editing your showreel to the required length if necessary.

6. We will handle any enquiries and should you be contracted to work on TV we will then represent you as your personal agent.

Payment and Fees

7. Where we act as your agent a commission fee of 15%* is payable from the full amount of any contract payment arranged, handled and/or received through TVTS - this commission is payable for the full length of any contract (or series) and includes any follow on contract or series connected to the original commission. In other words, should any registered talent leave the agency during a commission arranged by TVTS, the 15%* commission is still payable untill the end of that series or contract and or the end of any follow on series or contract that TVTS had previously arranged.
* The commission fee can vary at 15% or 20% depending on the contract and/or individual circumstances. The commission rate will be agreed prior to talent joining the agency.

8. For profile listings on the TVTS website a fee of £20 per month is payable each month by direct debit.

9. Should the profile listing fee not be made your profile will be removed from the site and all information you have provided securely destroyed. Your full information will have to be re-submitted should you wish to re-instate your profile listing at a later date. An additional fee of £30 will be charged for re-listing profiles.

Classic Cars, Property & Props

10. A one-off Registration Fee of £20 is payable for all individual listings after which your listing will be displayed on the TVTS website.

11. An agency fee of 20% is payable from the full amount of any contract payment arranged and/or received through TVTS for the hire of classic cars, props or property. It is your responsibility to make sure that the item hired is in suitable condition for the contract and matches your description on this website. Any claims for misrepresentation or complaints regarding any items we arrange the hire for is the responsibility of the owner.

Showreels

12. Every care is taken with original material however we cannot be held responsible in the event of loss or damage.

13. Original material, footage or photographs, are preferred. This ensured high quality transfer. Video footage can be submitted on VHS video, DV video, Hi-8 or Video 8 cassettes or DVD. If on DVD uncompressed data is preferred. Where possible your material should be original, first generation quality otherwise the quality of the showreel will suffer.

14. Original photographs are preferred. These will be scanned at high resolution and returned to you. Photographs can also be supplied in digital format on CD-Rom.

15. As part of our service, showreel material will be stored digitally on our hard-drive. This is to allow further use of your footage should updates to your showreel be required and reduces the need for material to be re-submitted. You hold full control over the use of this material and can request deletion at any time. Where material has been stored for 3 years you will be given the option to store for a longer period.

16. Copyright of all commercial material is respected. We do not transfer copyrighted material except for use in professional showreels. In respect of showreels use of such material is for personal/promotional use only. We assume that you have been granted full consent for use of such material.
