At the age of 19 he set up his first shop, a tiny premises in the Brighton Lanes. He soon out grew this and in 1985 moved to larger premises on the London Road . Once again, always on the look out for better premises and location, he moved to Upper North Street which became the main antiquing street in Brighton , frequented by Americans on buying trips almost daily.

In 1988 Lennox and his family moved to Lewes, East Sussex , where they set up home and showrooms in a beautiful Georgian town house. Eight years later having survived a very turbulent time during the recession of the late eighties and early nineties, the family were on the move again to Edenbridge , Kent , where they have resided and dealt from for the past twelve years. This now seems to be ‘home’ as being closer to London , the M25 and Gatwick, makes life easier for clients to visit and for Lennox to set out on buying trips. He has also become very involved in the local community and has now twice been voted in as a Conservative Town Councillor.

Lennox became a member of the prestigious BADA (The British Antiques Dealers Association) in 1990 and has since gone on to become a member of the BADA Fair committee. In 2004 he became a council member and in 2007 was very honoured to be asked to become Country Vice-chairman of the association.

In April 2007 he embarked on a new venture, The Edenbridge Galleries, adjacent to his own shop. He saw the opportunity to expand when the very large premises next door became available and saw the huge potential to make this an antique centre with a difference. All exhibitors have to be members of either the BADA (British Antiques Dealers Association) or LAPADA (The Association of Art & Antiques Dealers)

Lennox is an antique furniture expert on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow...The Roadshow is the most successful and best known antique show of all time - with 10 million viewers a week, Lennox has a high profile and its building by the day...catch him while you can!
