He's also a published children's author and character creator. Managing Director of The Peakies Ltd (publishing company). 

George runs his highly successful antique dealing business in Derbyshire - very well known in the trade as a very good buyer, especially of the unusual and out of the ordinary.  He is a true dealers dealer with over 30 years experience in valueing, dealing and giving talks and exhibitions on antiques from all era's.

George has appeared on BBC and ITV as an antique expert well as many live radio broadcasts across the UK and in October 2009 became a new face on ITV's highly succesful 'Dickinsons Real Deal' His children's book series, 'The Manxmen', received radio serialisation on the Isle of Man. Writes on most subjects - antiques, children's fiction, social concerns and sport.
