Brief Synopsis: Sonia Poulton is a well known opinionated journalist and broadcaster. She deplores laziness, procrastination, bad manners, bigotry and PC-behaviour.  She has huge concerns for declining family standards and a 'pass the buck, me first' society. She is infamous for her outspoken views on parental neglect, work shirkers and a culture where people are famous for being famous. She has lamented the sexualisation of young girls, the feminisation of young boys and the dangers of raising children in a 'fatherless society'.

Family life in Britain is on melt down.   Sonia gives families all over the country a kick up the bottom, brings them back together and gets them back to basics – she makes them eat together, gets them talking, being civil, teaches them manners, gets them eating healthy, gives them back their self respect and believes she can make them happier...effectively - 'Getting A Life'
 
Sonia storms into people’s homes all over Britain to give the whole family some no nonsense, non PC, common sense, no holes barred advice on how to pull their socks up as a family, get smarter, cleaner, brighter, more active, less slobby, healthier...and teaches them some long forgotten manners.  No one gets away without a good talking too!
 
You don't need to be wealthy to have a great life, so all this moaning and complaining how much people feel they should have or what they think they deserve is really irritating...Sonia makes them take responsibility for themselves.

Sonia shows families how to value what they’ve got right in front of their eyes, stop moaning, how to make the most of life, be responsible citizens, ad some value to the community rather than just taking from it, get some pride back in their lives... and get a life!
