About me:        For over twenty years I had been involved in various business ventures, when I finally had an idea for a business that could be started from my garage at home which within ten years made me a millionaire. I was fortunate enough to have enough cash to get the business up and running in the first place..... but what about all those great ideas that never get off the ground just through lack of starting capital or know-how?

Brief Synopsis:        From roadsweepers to rocket scientists, each episode sees a selection of new contestants pitch their original business ideas, where just one will be chosen to receive up to £10,000 to develop the project further and go forward to the final at the end of the series.

Throughout the series, we snapshot the various stages of progress for each idea, capturing the highs and lows, the elation and the despair as each contendor strives to develop the business model and product prototypes etc. in readiness to make an impressive and life-changing winning pitch for the ultimate prize..... a £100,000 advertising/marketing budget to launch the new business.

Will Tom’s great idea for self-cleaning windows be the next big thing? Or perhaps Susan’s innovative ironing board is about to become a huge best-seller!
