Matt has spent 11 years of his adult life abroad as an ex-pat. He was even an illegal immigrant for a couple of years in Spain from 1990-1992! He's been around a bit living in Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Tenerife, Majorca, Rhodes, Malta, Cyprus, Holland, Oman - and has travelled and lived extensively around Britain.

Matt is a succesful property developer, with a srong background in sales and is used to making presentations & loves public speaking.

He has a passion for politics & economics too and very much enjoys reading on the subject.

Obviously, being a property developer Matt is very interested in architecture and loves old Victorian buildings, but despises the crude buildings erected in the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s.

Cooking is another interest of Matt's, infact its a overwhelming passion,although looking at his performance
on Channel 4's Come Dine With Me, a lot of people would find that hard to believe!

Matt enjoys all sports and keeping fit and is especially keen on Karate and is predicted to be a black belt by 2010
