Nicola’s passion lies within ‘The Arts’.  Having trained in Art & Theatre for over a decade, she has a dedicated interest in all things creative and she has a radiant and bubbly personality to go with it.

Nicola has been working successfully as a sculptor of sand, snow and ice for the past 3 years.  Her work takes her all around the world as she carves for exhibitions, public displays and competitions.  Along the way she has collected numerous prizes, including a gold medal at the world sculpting championships held in Canada last year.

Constant travel for Nicola means a hands on education in different cultures and places.  Always creating and performing her art form for new audiences is a challenge in itself and communicating with people is a natural process for her.

Creating ‘Temporary Art’ has given Nicola access to a new realm of communication.  Not only does her work deliver messages within itself but she has also presented her work on television, radio and press worldwide.  Chat shows, Art programs, news reports and most locally GMTV, BBC Newsround, BBC Bargain Hunt, Sky News and BBC Radio.

After a previous career in teaching Nicola often returns to schools around the U.K to deliver workshops in Drama and Art & Craft to groups of all abilities.  This year she is even taking a 25tons sand project to a local school and later a wider spreading project to use sculpture to help create awareness for animals in danger.

Her creative skills are not confined to sculpture.  Her work as an actress and children’s entertainer has become of equal credibility and she is currently working on a project for children’s stories which utilises her artistic illustration with her ability to engage and communicate with children.
