The Scirocco is a 3-door Coupe small family car manufactured by German automaker Volkswagen, undergoing two generations of development between 1974 and 1992 and reintroduced in a third generation in August 2008.
This is the first edition of a popular car of the early 80's - VW Scirocco MK 1 version. Driven by up and coming professionals who wanted something a little more sporty that the iconic Golf GTI.
Presented in period colour of Brazil Brown Metallic, black leather interior with sport wheels. This example has completed a 2 year full restoration to 1979 showroom condition. Recent restoration including a full bare metal re-spray, engine rebuild with many components upgraded, the engine bay re-sprayed to as new condition and the engine bay de-cluttered with all metal power coated again to a showroom condition. The car is very drivable and kept in perfect running order by the owner, taxed and tested ready for hire.
