1979 (1960's Look) Classic works 1960s mini recreation
This mini was rebuilt into a replacement chassis in 1998 still with an A-series engine but from a MG Metro 1275. At that time the car also gained a modern multipoint welded rollcage and bucket seats with 6-point harnesses to make the car more suitable for competition and it has since been used in autotests and road rallies.
In all other respects the car was rebuilt to replicate the classic 1960’s “works” rally cars and as such it is painted tartan red with an old English white roof and group 2 wheel arches over 10” rims.
In 2006 this car was used by Sony Music for a video to accompany a track called “Brand New Map” by a Korean artist called K. This car is believable as an every day road car, cherished classic or competition car and can be used as such in the right hands.
Car located in Buckinghamshire near the M1 junction 14.
Costings: £160 per day / £750 per week. Discounts for long periods of hire or special requirements by negotiation.
