Here is a stunningly bright 1970's VW Camper Van. Located in Kent and ready for hire bookings from one day.  Delivery and driver available.

The van is a 1975 Volkswagen  Bay Window Type 2 camper van with a genuine Westfailia rear hinged pop up roof.

The engine is the original Type 4 (flat 4) which has been completely rebuilt and enhanced from the stock 1800cc to 1911cc. It is fitted with a Porsche 911 cooling fan which improves cooling by 60% and increases reliability.

The cab is completely refurbished  with new carpets in Green and new seats in cream.  All of the transmission components have either been replaced of reconditioned. All the brake system is new and all suspension is new making a period vehicle with reliability and driveability. The wheels are genuine OEM steels which are shot blasted and repainted in silver with white band tyres. These could be swapped for white wheels and plain black tyres if so desired to preserve original look.

The camper van is running at the standard ride height (not lowered) and the suspension is original not up rated. Therefore it will fit into a period 1970's - 1980's period or a classic in present day.

The chrome bumpers can also be swapped with ease and white steels put in their place to recreate original look. You may also notice that the front panel has the VW badge stamped in to it apposed to the normal white plastic stick
on badge. The owner can provide a magnetic stick on badge if a more original look is necessary.

Currently taxed and tested ready for hire and drive on public roads.The Vehicle registration is *** 574N.

The van has a two tone paint scheme the bottom is VW Lofotengrue 1975 color and the top is VW pastel white 1971 period.
