Working life 1946-1975
This car represents the first time Bentley and Rolls-Royce produced a complete car, as opposed to a chassis for delivery to specialist coach builders. Designed during WW2 it reached production initially in 1946 and continued externally unchanged until 1953. Conceived by Bentley Motors to be either chauffeur or owner driven. Therefor a hire of this vehicle our owner is prepared to wear chauffeur's cap and drive if required!
This car is visually correct for that period, and would have been in regular use as a working vehicle until the mid-1970s. It carries its original registration mark on correct size plates. The only non-period addition is rear flashing indicators which are easily removed (or masked
off) - an essential safety feature for modern traffic. If required the semaphore trafficators can be reinstated.
Tax Discs (for windscreen shots) available for 1965, 1968 and 1969, others could be sourced if required.
Upholstery is original brown leather, working sunroof, coachwork excellent and highly polished.
Owner would wish to be with the vehicle during hire (available to drive included in hire fee). And willing to instruct/test competency of other drivers as required.
Car based in Worcestershire. Guide Rate £250 per day.
