28 September 09: Tony Horne first book: Hornes Down Under

TV Talent Supermarket client Tony Horne has just released his first book Hornes Down Under Part One to rave reviews. It's the story of a family bitten by the credit crunch and dragged down by nanny-state Britain that need that trip of a lifetime to get their collective lives back on track. It follows the family of four on a route from Darwin to Adelaide in a Maui campervan, often with disastrous consequences- and Tony's wife Natalie is also writing her version of the same story, from her point of view.

'This book has everything. It's funny, it's emotional, it's warm, it's sarcastic, it's deep and superficial all at the same time. There's an incredible personal journey, and there's fantastic adventure too. I urge anyone who is looking at Australia as an emigration plan, or feels that they have that one big trip in them to have a read.' (Tony Horne)

Tony is available for interview on the book, or in broader discussions covering Australia, Steve Irwin, roadtrips, trip of a lifetime etc.'

Hornes Down Under is published by Matador.
